Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport the representative of Max Holidays will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel for check in and night stay.


Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
Red Fort DelhiAfter breakfast a full day guided tour of Old and New Delhi (Delhi, the capital of India comprises of conspicuously contrasting Old and New Delhi. Old Delhi was the capital of Muslim India between the 12th and 19th centuries and one can find mosques, monuments and forts related to Muslim history. This type of garden is known as a charbagh and is based on a grid), Safdarjung's Tomb (Representing the last phase of the Mughal style of architecture, Safdarjang's Tomb stands in the centre of an extensive garden), Qutab Minar (73 meters high which tapers from a 15 m diameter base to just 2.5 m at the top. The walls consist intricately carved quotations from Koran and is one of the most perfect towers of the Persian world) Drive through India Gate (The war memorial) and President's Palace. Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur (257 kms / 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to the pink city of Jaipur. On arrivalcheck into the hotel. Later sightseeing of Jaipur city visiting Hawa Mahal- Palace of Winds (This five storied building which looks out over the main street of the old city is one of Jaipur's major landmarks. This is a stunning example of the Rajput artistry with it's pink, semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed sand stone windows. Originally Hawa Mahal was built to enable the ladies of the royal families to watch the everyday life and processions of the city), Jantar Mantar - The Observatory (The Observatory, built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728. It is an excellent example of the marvelous precision wherein each construction has a specific purpose to measure the position of stars, altitudes and azimuths or calculating eclipses. The most striking instrument is the Sun Dial which is 90 feet high) and City Palace Museum (City Palace is delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. A part of the palace is still the house of the former Maharaja of Jaipur). Night stay in the hotel.


Day 04 : Excursion to Amer and Jaigarh Forts
After breakfast we drive to Amer Fort (Situated atop the Aravali hills Amer is the ancient capital of Jaipur and a magnificent example of Rajput architecture). We ascend to the fort on Elephant's back. Later we also visit the Jaigarh Fort (Overlooking the Moata Lake and dating back to the 11th century, to see the world's biggest cannon. Visit Gaitor, the royal cremation ground to see the elegant chhatris and cenotaphs of various kings and queens. The white marble structure of Jai Singh II, with its intricately carved dome and supporting pillars, is the most beautiful.). Evening free to explore the city and night stay in the hotel.

Day 05 : Jaipur - Agra (245 kms / 5 hrs drive)
Breakfast in the hotel and then drive to Agra (Agra attained its magnificence under the Emperor Akbar The Great. Once the capital of Mughal India, it is famous for the world renowned Taj Mahal). Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri (This magnificent fortified ghost city was the capital of Mughal empire between 1571 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. It was built by the emperor to commemorate the birth of his son Jahangir. Fatehpur Sikri was thereafter quickly abandoned, but till date it remains a perfectly preserved example of Mughal architecture.). Later proceed to Agra and check into the hotel. Afternoon visit Taj Mahal which is perhaps the most beautiful monument ever built in the history of love. Also visit the Agra Fort (In Akbar's time the fort was principally a military structure but by Shah Jahan's time it had partially become a palace. This fort serves as vantage location to have the fabulous glimpse of The Taj Mahal.). Night stay in your hotel at Agra.


Day 06 : Agra - Gwalior (120 kms / 3 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Gwalior (Once the capital of the influential state, Gwalior remains an important administrative centre of the state of Madhya Pradesh). On arrival check into the hotel. Later visit Gwalior Fort (Standing on a long narrow rocky hill of sandstone, which rises abruptly 300 ft. above the surrounding countryside, the fort of Gwalior is known as the "pearl in the necklace of the castles of Hind"). Also visit the temples in the Gwalior city. Night stay in the hotel.


Day 07 : Gwalior - Orchha (120 kms / 3 hrs.)
Gwalior - OrchhaAfter breakfast we drive to Orchha (Orchha a small village has its important due to the Fort and Temples. It is an architectural conception of unusual vigour and intricate sophistication). Check into the hotel at Orchha and later guided visit to Orchha Fort and Temples named Ramji Mandir, Raj Mandir and Jahangir Mandir which are example of architectural conception of unusual vigour and intricate sophistication. Night stay in the hotel at Orchha.


Day 08 : Orchha - Khajuraho (178 kms / 4 hrs.)
After breakfast we head to Khajuraho (The Chandela temples at Khajuraho are among the most creative examples of Indian architecture and is celebrating its Millenium. The popular theme of Khajuraho temple art is women: reflective, playful, and amorous). Upon arrival we check into the hotel and afternoon a half day tour of Khajuraho temples. Night stay in the hotel.

Day 09 : Khajuraho - Varanasi by flight
A half day guided tour of the Western Part of the temples at Khajuraho and then you will be transferred to the airport to board flight to Varanasi (Varanasi, sprawling along the left bank of the holy River Ganga, is the holiest city for Hindu region. The Shrines, Old Temples and Palaces rising in several tiers from the water's edge makes Varanasi one of the most fascinating cities in the east). At Varanasi airport assistance and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath (10 km from Varanasi, Sarnath is the place where Mahatma Buddha delivered his first sermon to his five disciples, preaching the middle path for attaining 'Nirvana'. . Realising the sanctity of the site, emperor Ashoka, in the 3rd century B.C. built some of the finest monuments and legacies). Night stay in the hotel at Varanasi.


Day 10 : Varanasi sightseeing and train to Delhi
Early morning Boat ride on River Ganges to witness the early offerings and prayer on the bank of Holy River Ganges. After breakfast proceed on a tour of the temples of Varanasi visiting the Golden Temple dedicated to lord Shiva, The Durga temple dedicated to goddess Durga (Interestingly the Durga Temple is also known as the Monkey Temple due to the large number of monkeys found in the Temple premises). Also visit the Banaras University. Later you will be transferred to the Varanasi railway station to board your overnight train to Delhi. Night on board the train.


Day 11 : Arrive Delhi from Varanasi
Arrive Delhi in the morning and transfer to your hotel for relaxation and final packing before your departure to hometown. Night stay in the hotel.


Day 12 : Leave Delhi
The representative of Max Holidays will ensure timely transfer for you to the airport to board your onward flight.
