About Hotel

Fort Auwa Resort stands in the Godwad area of Marwar and belonged to a Champawat Clan. The fort had faced a number of battles in its history and bears the scars of that siege till date. Presently the fort houses a beautiful constructed traditional home of the Thakurs of Auwa. The Champawat family still resides in the fort and has been reconstructed to offer quiet luxury of a retreat in an aesthetically converted resort. The unique and beautiful architecture of the fort is an eccentric mix of pre Mughal traditional Hindu sculpture with Neo-Colonial, Indo-Saracenic style. All the components of modern and luxurious living are ensured at the hotel and sprinkled with courtyards, terraces and temples. The rooms and suites have been are designed preserving the rich cultural and architectural heritage of the fort. Fort Auwa Resort is a place where the guests have much to explore, be it peace, comfort, history or tradition.
