About Umaid Bhawan Palace

Umaid Bhawan Palace one of the most the stunning palaces in India, it also happens to be the last and the largest palace residence built in the country. Spread in a sprawling area of 26 acres of lush gardens it was built by Maharaja Umaid Singh in 1928 and took 15 years to be completed by 1943. The yellow sandstone structure was built on the grandest possible scale; it has a chic Art Deco style of that time with an excellent blend of eastern and western architecture.
