Amer Palace jaipur» Jaipur - The Pink city and the colored capital of Rajasthan is full of impressive monuments, excellent range of handicrafts, a wide variety of cuisines and entertainments that keeps the guests to that place enthralled till they take the route back to their homeland. It's a city that has the ability to cast spell on the visitors as soon as they arrive. The highlight of the tour to Jaipur includes the famous sights such as the magnificent Amer Palace, the old capital Jaipur where one can see the exquisite blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Apart from it there is the much vaunted Diwan-i-Aam, Ganesh Pol, Sheesh Mahal and the Shila Devi temple that should not be missed.

» Pushkar - The world’s largest cattle fair is held every year in the month of November. The tourist from every nook and corner of the world comes to see this amamzing fair. Apart from fair Pushkar is also known as “Rose of Garden of Rajasthan” and the species of roses found here are renowned for its perfume and exported world over.

» Ranthambore - Ranthambore National Park is famous for its Tigers. Once it was a hunting ground for the royal families. Ranthambore was conquered by the Chauhan princes by Ala-ud-din Khilji in the 14th century and then again by Akbar in 1569 A.D. Queen Elizabeth of England stayed here in 1962 A.D. The total area of the park is 392 Sq Km.The Tiger and Leopard are the main predators found in this reserve.The tourist visting can enjoy the Jungle safari either by canter or by Jeep.

» Mandawa - Mandawa is an old sleepy village which lies in the heart of Shekhawati region. It hosts one of the finest painted havelis of this region which serves as the perfect place for wandering at leisure. One can loiter through the streets where mansions of rich merchants are adorned with elaborate frescoes. The fort has been converted into a heritage hotel.

» Bikaner - Bikaner was founded 29 years after Jodhpur by Rao Bhikaji in the year 1488 A.D. Bikaner has many things to offer to its visitor. The Red sandstone at Lalbagh Palace and those in marble are among the finest in delicacy and profusion. The Biakner camel corps is a showpiece of the Indian Army’s display parade in Delhi on Republic day. On the outskirt of the city is camel breeding farm and Karni Mata Temple ( rat temple) hold a great attraction for the tourists.

» Jaisalmer - The land of Bhatti Princes is one of the most favored destinations of Rajasthan which has many charming places to see and experience. The major tourist attractions in Jaisalmer include the Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki haveli, Nathmalji ki haveli, Salim Singh ki haveli. These were ready to be dismantled and shipped abroad when they were declared National Treasures. Camel safari on sand dunes at Sam is an unforgettable experience of the life.

» Jodhpur - The place of Jodhpur is synonymous with sand dunes and the camel safaris. Called the Sun city, the lush green hills and the deep valleys and the gardens all give it the colour of green. Riding on the camel safaris is as wonderful as visiting the Fort of Mehrangarh. One can be amazed at the beautification of the Moti Mahal, the Phool Mahal and the Daulat Khana that are marvelously carved and latticed.

» Udaipur - The Mewar region of Udaipur encompasses dramatic hills, shimmering lakes, deep valleys with romantic water palaces and historic hilltop forts. The land is rich in its heritage that it received from the royal kingdoms that flourished ages ago. Situated on the banks of the Lake Pichola, Udaipur is famous for the City Palace. The other interesting things to visit for are the Suraj Gokhanda, Badi Mahal, Bhim Vilas, Chini Chittrashala, Mor Chowk and the Zeenat Mahal.

» Chittorgargh - Chittorgarh was the seat of Sisodia rulers. A fort was built on the same lines as the fort of Jodhpur. At Chittor we can see the splendid palaces of Jaimal, Patta and that of Rani Padmini.The Victory Tower at Chittorgarh is the best specimen of Rajput civil architecture. It was constructed by Rana Kumbha of Chittor in 15th century (between 1443-48 A.D), to commemorate his victory over Mahmud (I), the ruler of Malwa, this is why it is known as the Victory tower.

» Bundi - Bundi came into existence in the year 1342 A.D is well protected by the rugged Aravali ranges that drop into rocky ravines traversed by four narrow passes. The main attraction of Bundi is the Taragarh fort built in the 14th century.Chattar Mahal which reflects the changing colors of the greenish serpentine of its wall in the Naval Sagar lake. The Chaurasi Khambon ki chhatri, located south of the town is a pavilion supported by 84 pillars.

» Kota - The history of Kota is linked with Bundi.The Bundi territory was first claimed by Udaipur and later by Jaipur.It sharnk in size when a part of it was given in 1579 A.D as patrimony for a favored young son. This tract , set in the open plains, grew to be Kota, larger than its parent state.

» Bishnoi Village - Bishnoi village is situated at about 22 Km from Jodhpur city.The Bishnoi tribes are eco friendly who can lay their lives in order to protect their environment. One can experience the local Bishnoi culture by spending an overnight in the Bishnoi Village camp and resort. The Guda lake where the migratory bird comes is only 02 Km from the camp.

» Ranakpur - Ranakpur lies between Udaipur and Jodhpur.It is famous for its remarkable Jain temples built during the reign of one of the liberal and gifted monarchs Rana Kumbha. The main Jain temple is Chaumukha or Four Faced temple dedicated to Adinath and consists of 29 halls and 426 pillars full of sculptured decoration. No two pillars are alike here.

» Khimsar - is situated at an edge of the Great Thar Desert.There lies the Khimsar fort,the battle scarred walls and turrets remind of the glorious past. Hundreds of years of history unfolds as you glance at its battle scarred walls and stroll down its ramparts.

» Kumbhalgarh - It owes a great advantage because of its location it was almost inaccessible in the 15th century , Rana Kumbha of Mewar built a great defensive fortress at a height of 3500 feet on high hill overlooking the approaches from Ajmer and Marwar.Now it houses resorts on the top of the hill.

» Mount Abu - Located on the western corner of Rajasthan, the only hill station is a major pilgrim center. It is here that the Aravali ranges reach its greatest height at the Guru Shikhar. The Nakki Lake is a popular spot for boating and is the only artificial lake in India that is 1200 mts above sea level. The hill temples of Gaumukh and the Arbuda are equally famous. Nearby lies Ranakpur known for the temple of Rishabji.

Umaid Bhawan Jodhpur » Alwar - One of the historic cities of Rajasthan, Alwar is one of the Archaeologist's delighted place. It was once a part of the Matsya kingdom and feels like walking back into history on the tour to Alwar. Being protected from the desert sand by the Aravali ranges it has a lot of picturesque locations. Some of the wonder destinations in Alwar are the Bala Quila, the City Palace housing a museum, the beautiful Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri with the majestic red marble cenotaph as well as the monuments of Vinay villa Palace and the Moti Doongri.
