Samode Palace
Samode should be visited for its palace-hotel, showcasing a fine blend of Rajput-Mughal architecture styles, which has been well restored today. Rawal Sheo Singh, who was the prime minister of Jaipur during the mid-19th century, gave the palace its most fabulous addition – the extravagantly hand-painted Darbar Hall and the overlooking gallery, which forms the breathtaking Sheesh Mahal. Samode Palace was transformed into one of the country’s premium palace hotels in 1987.
Samode Bagh
Traditionally used by the old Samode folks as a secluded haven, Samode Bagh is peaceful and uncommon, more a safe haven than hotel.
