Sawai Madhopur :
Built in 1930 by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh 11 of Jaipur as a lodge for his
hunting trips to the jungles of Ranthambore which were the favorite hunting
grounds of the Royal family of Jaipur. The highlight of the trip to Sawai
Madhopur is the visit to the Ranthambore National Park, which is one of the
finest habitats in the world for the Tigers. November to April is the ideal
time to visit when the temperature ranges from 2 degreeC to 3O degree C.
The Attractions Of The Lodge :
» Room Description - These large Deluxe Rooms are
equipped with a writing desk, dressing room, mini bar and colour television
in the bedroom. Complimentary railway station transfers. Complimentary
bottle of premium wine in the room upon arrival. The standard rooms have a
view of the gardens and are equipped with a dressing table. These rooms are
located in the cottages and have a view of the gardens. They are equipped
with a writing table.
» Restaurant and Bar - A dining room serving Indian
and Continental cuisine open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bar open from
11 am to 11 pm. Open air bonfire dining (Oct. to March) with puppet show /

information and nonrefundable pre payments with the Taj Reservation Network
offices, the drives can be arranged. Only 14 jeeps and 8 buses are allowed
to enter the park at one time.
