Best Places To Visit In Rajasthan For The First Time Visitors

The startling architectural showcase of royalty as well as grandeur by the proudly standing massive forts and palaces lying within its vicinity, this state is quite lavish! Can you guess the destination I am mentioning about? Okay, let me give you another hint! This splendid region houses the fabulous kingdoms of the erstwhile Maharajas carried on by their generations while providing a pinch of royalty to every single traveller present here. Yes, now you assumed it right! This all round destination is none other than the Land of Warriors Rajasthan.

I being a travel freak person did several international trips that as a result inculcated the positive outlook in me to understand different cultures and traditions. In this contemporary world, where time as well as money are utmost important, they also act as a huge roadblock in the path of many travellers. But luckily, it didn’t affect my India tour, so I thought to share some of my experiential painting through this blog. Here is a list of the most important and attractive tourists’ attractions present in Rajasthan that the ‘first time visitors’ must surely explore.

1. Amber Fort and Palace, Jaipur

Continually stealing the attention of tourists flocking from all over the world, the Amber Fort and Palace, also known as the Amer Fort is located at a distance of about 11 kms from the Pink city Jaipur. While being here, you are free to engross in the beautiful artwork presented by its elements as well as its engaging construction done with the help of marble and red sandstone. Its complex is a massive amalgamation of the Diwan-e-Aam, the Diwan-e-Khaas, Sheesh Mahal and lastly the Sukh Niwas. 2. Jain Temple – Ranakpur, Udaipur

The place served as an erstwhile hunting ground for the renowned Maharajas belonging to Jaipur. An apt place especially for the wildlife photographers as well as the nature lovers, this destination is quite perfect for coming up close with the serenity lying within its lush green surroundings. 7. Chittorgarh Fort, Chittorgarh

Just a personal advice from my side, ‘Never ever miss out on Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh Fort.’ The establishment is considered to be one of the most gigantic forts prevalent in this state and during the early years, it also served as the notable seat for Mewar’s prominent rulers. The Chittorgarh Fort has a very innovative and significant story associated with it! As entailed, it is said that during the time when rulers fought with the invaders but got defeated, their wives used to perform Jauhar along with the kids at this fort. Thus, the construction and the characteristics of the Chittorgarh Fort are more than enough to memorise the brave instances!

8. Hawa Mahal, Jaipur

Well, this is one of my most favourite attractions in Rajasthan. Hawa Mahal is a highly antique destination spot carrying along an exceptional architectural work with the radiant hues of pink! Having a great height, this gigantic sculpture was established during 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. It was set up with an intention of enabling the women population in the household have a look at the activities in the Palace. With its dizzying five storeys and a teeny-weeny museum showcasing the varied miniature paintings take the tourists back to the royal past. The richness of the dome-shaped pavilions is going to take your hearts away!

9. City Palace, Jaipur

The Maharaja reigned from the City Palace lying in the heart of Jaipur. This establishment showcases the most perfect fusion of the Rajput, European as well as the Mughal architecture. This tourist hotspot has been designed with high amount of perfection hailing with an interesting and very significant history reminding us about the royalty during the bygone era.
