Created by Thakur Kesri Singh in 1985 The Desert Resort is a green oasis in the midst of a stark desert landscape. It gives the visitors an aesthetic charm of the rural without compromising on luxury or comfort. The mystery and romance of the desert are captured in the unusual architecture of the resort with each cottage and room furnished in a distinctive style ornamented with mirror work and glass beads in myriad colours and the exterior is decorated with traditional lime-paste “mandana” or rice flour patterns by the women of the village. It is a great experience to stay at The Desert Resort Mandawa which offers a comfortable stay in the classic rural Rajasthani setting.
