About the hotel
The Lallgarh Palace is a matchless palace which stands gloriously in the Thar Desert; the red sandstone structure was built by Maharaja Ganga Singhji in the memory of his father in 1902 AD. It is a marvelous palace transformed into a heritage hotel with distinctive personality and character. Designed by Col. Sir Swinton Jacob, the palace is a fusion of various elements of Rajput, Muslim and European styles and an integrated example of Indo Saracenic architecture. The intricate carvings, lush green lawns, open corridors and halls gives the property a dramatic look, the rooms and corridors are lavishly adorned with rare collection of old and vintage paintings.
