Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from Rajasthan

Tour Itinerary

Day 01- Jaipur/Udaipur/Delhi to Lucknow

Travel from Jaipur/Udaipur/Delhi to Lucknow. On reaching Lucknow check into your designated hotel near airport. In the evening meeting of the group for briefing and Kailash Yatra preperation. Dinner and night stay will be at the hotel in Lucknow.

Day 02-Lucknow to Nepalganj drive by bus (188 kms / 5 hours approx.)

Early morning fly to Lucknow and then drive towards Nepalganj (Nepal). On your arrival at Nepalgunj, check in at the pre-booked hotel and have some lunch. Later, you’ll have to attend another briefing session arranged by Max Holidays in which the tour guide is going to tell you about the yatra. After briefing, have your dinner and relax. Overnight stay at your pre-booked accommodation in Nepalganj.

Day 03: Fly from Nepalganj - Simikot (3224 m)

Wake up and have some early breakfast. On its completion, our tour representative will be assisting your transfer to Nepalganj Airport. Board a flight towards Simikot and on reaching there, check in to your pre-booked accommodation at Simikot. Note: If the weather conditions stand favourable, then we might arrange a helicopter ride for you to arrive at Hilsa.

Day 04: Helicopter flight from Simikot to Hilsa, drive to Taklakot (3890 m)

Once done with some early morning breakfast, a chartered helicopter will be ferrying your group to Hilsa. On ultimately arriving at Hilsa, be a part of a trek having a tenure of about 45 minutes in order to reach Sher. Here, you will be completing some immigration facilities and afterwards, you are all set for a drive towards Taklakot (Burang). Reach Taklakot and then check in to your pre-booked accommodation. Overnight stay at your pre-booked hotel in Taklakot. Distance covered: 275 kms, Altitude: 3890 m, Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 05: Day free for acclimatization at Taklakot (Burang)

Today’s the day when you are free to spend your time as per your comfort. Acclimatize your body with the elevation and the weather conditions present at Taklakot. You can also stroll amidst the local markets situated nearby. Stay overnight at your pre-booked accommodation in Taklakot. Distance covered: 0 kms, Altitude: 4025 m, Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 06: Taklakot to Manasarovar (4599 m)

You will be seeing the beautiful and the pure Lake Manasarovar today! Wake up and then have some tasty breakfast. Once done, you will be driven to Manasarovar via Lake of Devil i.e. Rakshastal. Ultimately, arrive at Lake Manasarovar and spend time there. Pooja and Havan (direct payment basis) can be arranged for you on its banks. Overnight stay at your pre-booked guesthouse located nearby Lake Manasarovar. Distance covered: 110 kms, Altitude: 4590 m, Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 07: Manasarovar to Darchen. Trek to Dirapuk

Eat some breakfast and then you will be given an assisted drive towards Darchen. On the way, stop midway at holy gate Yam Dwar, pass through it and later, move further with your drive. Ultimately arrive at Darchen and start your trek towards Dirapuk that you can undertake either on a Yak or by foot. During your trek, you are going to have a view of Mount Kailash’s North Face. Overnight stay at your camp in Dirapuk. Note: The pilgrims who are not intending to be a part of this trek shall return to their pre-booked accommodation at Darchen. Distance covered: 61 kms, Altitude: 4910 m, Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 08: Trek to Zuthulphuk (4790 m)

Wake up early morning and then have a look at the beautiful view of the Golden Mount Kailash. Later, enjoy breakfast and then start your trek towards Zuthulphuk. This is considered to be the toughest trek. Firstly, you are going to trek upwards till Dolma La Pass and then descend gradually till you spot the Gauri Kund and from there walk on a flat base until you finally arrive at Zuthulphuk. Overnight stay at your accommodation at Zuthulphuk. Distance covered: 22 kms, Altitude: 5600 m, Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 09:Zuthulphuk to Darchen trek and drive to Taklakot

Once done with some breakfast, it is the time for you to arrive at Darchen. During your journey to Darchen, our vehicles will be there to pick you up from the midway and then you will be continuing your journey to Darchen. On ultimately reaching there, meet other group mates and have some lunch. Later, arrive at Lake Manasarovar from where you will be changing your vehicle that is going to drop you at your pre-booked accommodation in Taklakot. Overnight stay at your pre-booked hotel in Taklakot. Distance covered: 120 kms, Altitude: 4025 m, Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 10: Taklakot to China-Nepal Border and fly to Simikot/Nepalgunj

Wake up and enjoy luxurious breakfast at your accommodation. Afterwards, you will be driven to the China-Nepal Border nearby Hilsa and on completing all the immigration formalities and have lunch at Hilsa. Once done, get set for being ferried by a helicopter ride to Simikot. On reaching there, check in to your pre-booked accommodation. Overnight stay at your already booked hotel in Simikot.

Day 11:Fly Simikot to Nepalganj. Drive to Lucknow

Start your day with some scrumptious breakfast and then it’s the time for you to fly towards Nepalganj via flight. On arriving at Nepalganj, have some lunch. Later, start driving towards Lucknow and on ultimately arriving there, check in to your pre-booked accommodation and have dinner. Stay overnight at a pre-booked accommodation in Lucknow.

Day 12:Lucknow to Delhi/Jaipur/Udaipur
