After healthy breakfast, you will board on a trip to discover the architectural legacy of Old & New Delhi. The tour will start with Old Delhi; visit Red Fort, made by Emperor Shah Jahan, it is constructed in red sandstone. The rambling fort compound houses a number of lavish buildings. The buildings have beautiful networks and superb statues. Also visit the biggest mosque of our country called "Jama Masjid" and later take an exhilarating rickshaw ride through the thin & crowded lanes of Chandni Chowk bazaar and also visit the crematory place of Mahatma Gandhi – Raj Ghat. Proceed for next part of the city - New Delhi and drive pass through the amazing British architectural formations on Raj Path – The President's House and India Gate. Next visit Humayun's Tomb a stunning memorial built in the year 1563 in the reminiscence of Mughal Emperor Humayun. Later visit the Qutub Minar, one of the tallest stone towers in the whole of Asia. This tower constructed in the twelfth century AD has been known by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight in Delhi

Today we drive to the city of Taj Mahal Agra situated in Uttar Pradesh state of India, it is home to the marvelous monument ever built - Taj Mahal, the structural building of white marble. It was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his dearly loved wife Mumtaz Mahal. In Agra city there is huge magnificent fort called "Agra Fort" which is also a must visit. Evening is free for leisurely walk around the local bazaars. Overnight stay is in Agra.

After lavish breakfast head for a guided city tour of Agra, this begins with a visit to the star attraction of India - Taj Mahal, the wonderful tomb constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It is said that it took twenty two years to build it and a total of 20000 workers and 1000 elephants worked tirelessly to create the magnificent marble monument. Also visit the magnificent Agra Fort, few kilometers from the Taj Mahal. The exact age of the monument can't be ascertained, though some historians date it to the 15th century. The grand monument built in red sandstone has been recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Also visit Itmad-ud-Daulah later. Overnight stay is in Agra.

On route to Bharatpur visit Fatehpur Sikri, the ghost city built by Mughal emperor Akbar. The city has magnificent buildings which has singular form of architecture. We then visit the world famous Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or The Keoladeo Ghana Wildlife Sanctuary. The Park is house to more than 235 species of birds along with other migratory birds which flies in during winter like the Siberian crane. It is a favourite haunt for bird lovers and ornithologists who flock to this park during winter months. Later we will drive to Karauli, on the way we visit the village of Khanwa, where the historic Battle of Khanau was fought between Mughal emperor Babur and the Rajput ruler Rana Sanga in 1527 .You will be staying the night in Bhanwar Vilas Palace, the residence of the erstwhile Maharaja of Karauli, now a heritage hotel. Today you will be visiting the old city Palace of Karauli. The palace is known for its excellent exemplary of structural design, stone carvings and paintings. The beautiful interiors of the Durbar Hall never fail to charm the tourists. Next you will visit Temple of Madan Mohan Ji. The twin temples of Madan Mohan Ji and Kalyan Ji are visited by thousands of followers each year. The city is also the abode of Shri Madan Mohan Ji, another name of Lord Krishna. Later you will be visiting the Ranthambore National Park. The national park is bounded to the north by Banas River and to the Chambal River in the south. The park is named after the famous Ranthambore Fort which lies within the national Park. The massive fortress was built in the year 944 and had been the center stage of many epic battles fought between the Rajput rulers and the Muslim rulers of Delhi. The National park is known for its tiger population. These striped feline beauties can be easily spotted during the day time. Also there are a number other wild animals like spotted dears, leopards, dholes or wild dogs, foxes, sloth bear, hyenas and the Indian Elk. The park was established as Sawai Madhopur Game sanctuary in the year 1955 and in the year 1973 it was included in the Project Tiger. Spend the night in the jungle lodge in the midst of calls of cicadas and occasional roar of the tigers. Stay in the Jungle resort in Ranthambore.

After your breakfast you will be setting off for a tryst with the wildlife. Take a jeep safari of the Tiger Reserve .The Park is a protected sanctuary of wild animals. Once hunting reserve for local rulers the depleting wildlife habitat has been revived. It is one of the best places in India to spot tigers. Later we visit the Ranthambore Fort; the massive fort complex has three Hindu temples along with a Jain Temple dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras. Stay the night in the jungle resort in Ranthambore.

You will be arriving in Bundi today as we drive this morning, a small desert city, set far from the maddening city life. The serene and calm atmosphere of Bundi never fails to impress the tourists. The city has a number of small tourist attractions. Visit the Taragarh Fortress, this fortress is considered to be one of the best in Rajasthan. The fortress is known for its intricate sculptures as well as murals. Visit the Shikar Burj, the hunting place of the Maharajas of Bundi. Stay the night in a hotel in Bundi.

Today you will be driving to Kota, a modern industrialized town situated on the bank of Chambal River on the eastern side. The city of Kota is known for its distinctive style of painting as well as a number of Palaces built by the Maharajas of Kota. The city founded in the year 1572, has a number of splendid temples and beautiful palaces.You will be visiting Sukh Niwas, built by Maharaja Umed Singh II in the early 20th century. The palace was designed by one of the most well known engineers in the Royal Army, Sir Swinton Jacob. The palace is designed in the Indo –Saracen style. The palace is known for its exquisite work of art. The palace is truly a grand [Chambal River] structure in the city of Kota. Next you will be visiting the Jag Mandir, a magnificent temple built in the middle of the artificial Kishore Sagar Lake. Visit the Maharao Madho Singh museum built in the old palace. The museum has an excellent collection of Rajput miniature painting along with frescoes, an armoury and other works of art. Later you can visit the battle field where Rao Madho Singh and Aurangzeb fought in the year 1579. Stay the night at a hotel in Bassi.

Today you will be driving to Udaipur, stopping on the way at Chittorgarh; a town steeped in history.The town of Chittore has attained legendary status owing to the shows of exemplary valour and chivalry shown by the warriors of Chittor. The fort of Chittore can be termed as the Thermopylae of India. Here a number of times Rajput warriors held the fort to the last man. A number of times the fort of Chittore was attacked by marauding invaders. The warriors of the fort defended the fort till the last man. The women residing in the fort performed Jauhar an act of self immolation, to escape dishonor in the hands of the invaders. The act of valour of the Rajput warriors epitomizes the chivalry of the entire Rajput clan. The Fort of Chittorgarh symbolizes a mankind's fight against the overwhelming odds. Chittore is also synonymous with Rana Pratap, the most famous king and warrior of Rajasthan. Rana Pratap symbolized the Rajput chivalry and undying valour, and has been the most iconic ruler of King of Chittore. After Chittore you will be driving towards Udaipur, built by Rana Udai Singh of Mewar. The city has a number of tourist attractions, most prominent amongst them are the picturesque Lake Pichola and Fateh Sagar Lake, the Lake palace built in the midst of the Lake Pichola. Today you will be visiting the City Palace; the palace complex has an intriguing collection of buildings built at various times. The construction of the palace complex started in the year 1559. The palace has a number of buildings like the Dilkhush Mahal, Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and the Krishna Vilas. The palace has a good collection of antiques, artifacts, paintings and personal belongings of the Udaipur Royals on display. Visit the Sukhodia Palace and the Sahelion ki badi or the Garden of the Maids. The garden was laid by the Great Rana Sangram Singh of Mewar for his Queen's maids in waiting. Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola in evening. Also you can visit Shilpgram that hosts the largest craft fair of the country. Kumbhalgarh is surrounded by greenery and Wildlife. On the way you will stop at Haldighati, the site of one of the most famous and legendary battles fought in history. You will be driving to Jodhpur, situated on the edge of Thar Desert. Jodhpur is a bustling city and the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan. Enroute Ranakpur, located in the Aravalli mountain ranges is the home to some of the most famous Jain temples. You will be visiting the Mehrangarh Fort today. The fort was built by Rao Jodha the chief of the Rathore Rajputs. The fort was built at a height of 125 meters. Also visit Jaswant Thada, built by white marble in the memory of Jaswant Singh in the year 1899. This is also the traditional crematory ground of the Jodhpur Royals. Here you will find a number of cenotaphs. Later you will be visiting the Guda Bishnoi village. The bishnoi are known for their unparalleled love for wildlife trees and nature. The Bishnoi community worships nature in all forms. They lead a vegetarian life and values trees and wildlife more than their life. After having breakfast, drive to Nagaur Fort, which shines like a beacon in the midst of sandy wasteland that surrounds it. The city of Nagaur dates back to the 4th century B.C and finds mention even in the great Hindu epic of Mahabharata. The Nagaur Fort is built on the top of a hill at the city. It was built in the 4th century by the Naga Rajputs. The fort has been witness to several wars. There are a number of palaces, buildings, gardens and tanks within the fort premises. Today you will be driving to Pushkar. Pushkar is a small town situated on the edge of the Thar Desert, separated by the Snake Mountain. [Fatehpur Sikri] The town has the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in whole of the Indian subcontinent. Pushkar is one of the holiest places of the Hindus. The town is situated on the Banks of the holy Pushkar Lake. Pushkar also hosts the annual Pushkar Camel Fair. The fair is a combination of animal trade as well as religious activities. The Pushkar fair attracts tourists and devotees from all over the world. On the way visit Merta, the birthplace of Meera Bai, the famous saint and poetess. The city of Merta was captured by the forces of Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1561 AD. You can also visit the Varaha temple, where a battle was fought between the forces of Aurangzeb and Ratan Alaniyawas. Today you will be visiting the Brahma Temple at Pushkar. It is the only known temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the whole of Indian subcontinent. Then you will be driving to Kuchaman, stopping at Ajmer. The city of Ajmer is situated in a green oasis in the midst of the rocky hills. The city of Ajmer has an interesting history and was founded by Raja Ajay Pal Chauhan in the seventh century AD and had continued to be a stronghold of the Chauhans, till the end of the 11th century when the Great Prithiviraj Chauhan, the last independent Hindu ruler of Delhi, lost it to Muhammad Ghori. Since then Ajmer had a number of ruling dynasties, leading to an amazing amalgamation of Hindu and Muslim culture. You will be visiting the Adai –din –Ka Jhopra which literally translates to building that was constructed within two and a half days. The Adai –din –ka Jhopra mosque was built by Muhammad Ghori in the 12th century. Visit the tomb of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. The tomb or Dargah of the famous Sufi saint is visited by thousands of devotees of all faith. The Tomb is greatly revered by the Muslims of South Asia, and it is second only to Mecca or Medina in terms of religious importance. Emperor Akbar used to visit the Dargah at least once a year. Also visit the Nasiyan Digambar Jain temples. These temples are only second to the Ranakpur and Mount Abu temples in there magnificence and architecture. Stay the night in the Kuchaman Fort.

Today you will be driving to Jaipur, the capital city of the state of Rajasthan. Jaipur is also popularly known as the pink city, due to its numerous pink colored buildings. Today you take on a royal ride to the Amber Fort on the back of an elephant. You will also visit the City Palace; the palace has a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal style of architecture. At the heart of the Palace is the seven-storied Chandra Mahal which offers fine views of the surrounding gardens and the city. Also visit Jantar Mantar, the solar observatory built by Raja Sawai Jai Singh II. The solar observatory has a number of architectural astronomical tools. The tools were used in astronomical research. The ninety feet high Samrat Jantra is the largest of the instruments. Also, visit the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. The palace has wonderful latticework and resembles a honeycomb has 953 Jharokhas or mini windows made of stone. The Maharaja of Jaipur built it in the year 1799 so that the royal ladies could watch the busy street market underneath, hidden from the public eye. Later on, you will be visiting the Nahargarh Fort located on the Aravalli hills, overlooking the city. The fort was built in the year 1734 by Raja Jai Singh for the defense of the city. You will be driving to Sariska National Park stopping at Tunga on the way today. Tunga was the place of the fight between the Marathas against the Kachhawah Rajputs. The Maratha's under Mahadjee Scindia attacked Sawai Prithvi Singh. The fight took place at Tunga, resultant in the defeat of the Marathas. It is said that though the Marathas were qualified by the French they were no match for the Rajputs. After that you will reach Sariska National Park, which was built primarily as a game reserve, by the Maharaja of Alwar in the 19th century. The National park also has the hunting lodge of the Maharaja. The Palace has a stunning building built at the centre of calm and serene wilderness. Overnight stay is in Sariska.
