Also, visit the shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer before getting to Jodhpur to dig out the interesting history of the Rajput maharajas. Day 01: Arrive - Delhi

On your arrival at Delhi, you will be escorted to your hotel by the representative of Max Holiday. Delhi is the capital city of India and is steeped in History. Several dynasties have ruled over Delhi. The influence of several dynasties is visible on the landscape. The city of Delhi is dotted with numerous buildings of historical importance. There are a number of forts, palaces and tombs which display exemplary skills of the medieval craftsmen. Stay the night in your hotel room.

Day 02: Delhi sightseeing

Today we proceed to explore the most vibrant city and a political hub of India, Delhi. Enjoy a guided tour of temples of Delhi, along with some of the major sites of Delhi. We will visit the Akshardam temple today, known as the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple. Enjoy one of the best architecture, and presentation from the life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. From here, we will drive to Qutub Minar built by Muslim sultan Qutub-ud-din is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in India and a perfect example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. From here we will visit the Lotus temple and Iscon temple. Evening drive through the New Delhi sites such as Raj Ghat - a memorial built in honor of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Then we drive past Raj Path which is an imposing approach to New Delhi consisting of India Gate, The President's House the official residence of the President of India built in the year 1929. The next attraction is Humayun's Tomb is a renowned World Heritage Site and the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India

Day 03: Delhi – Agra

Today we drive to Agra an enthralling city located on the banks of River Yamuna attracts moths of tourists from all over the world. On arrival check in at the hotel and afternoon proceed for city sightseeing. Visit the famous icon of India Taj Mahal is built in Agra and it also houses three monuments that are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Taj Mahal one of the Seven Wonders of the World is a white marble beauty built by great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal Further we visit Agra Fort the most important fort in India which is a maze of buildings that form a city inside a city. Day 04: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

Morning start the drives to the city of victory – Jaipur, while on the way stop by at the ruined city Fatehpur Sikri also called as the Ghost Town. Emperor Akbar had built his new capital here as an honor to sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chisti as his prediction of the birth of the Mughal Empire's heir came true. However due to scarcity of water in this city it was a short live capital from 1571 to 1585 only. Visit Jama Masjid Mosque where the stunning marble tomb of Salim Chisti is built. From here, we continue our drive Jaipur, and check into the temple. Evening we will visit the white marbled Birla temple of Jaipur, which is now one of the landmark of the Jaipur. Day 05: Jaipur

Today visit the Amber Fort situated on a hill built in 1592 AD. An exciting Elephant back ride making you feel like a royal king /queen will reach you to the entrance of the Amber fort. There are stunning palaces, complexes, halls, pavilions and Gardens at Amber fort which makes the fort a must visit spot on every travellers list. From here, drive towards the city, where we will visit the Galtaji temple located in the Aravalli hills surrounded by dense trees. One can see a lot of monkeys in temple. Visit the Govindeviji temple, one of the famous temples and dedicated to Radha Krishna. The temple is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Also explore the City Palace and museum, which is the residence of Maharaj of Jaipur. Evneing is at leisure to explore the Bapu Bazaar near Hawa Mahal. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 06: Jaipur – Pushkar

After early breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Pushkar, a Hindu pilgrimage town, dedicated to Lord Brahma. It is said that Lord Brahma wanted to perform a fire sacrifice and was contemplating on a good site when a lotus flower fell from his hand and landed on the earth. A water body sprang from it, which became the Pushkar Lake and Lord Brahma performed the fire sacrifice here. On reaching Pushkar, check into your hotel. Afternoon, explore the Brahma temple and perform the rituals at Pushkar Lake.

Day 07: Pushkar – Ajmer – Jodhpur

Early morning enjoy a visit to temple to see the morning activities around temple and lake, and later drive to Ajmer known for the sufi shrine of sufi saint, Moinuddin Chishti, great importance for Hindus as well as Muslims. From here, drive towards Jodhpur.

Day 08: Jodhpur

After breakfast visit the various tourist sites of Jodhpur, such as Mehrangarh Fort still run by the descendants of the Maharaja of Jodhpur. This is among the largest forts of Rajasthan and with fine architecture and ark work. Next adjacent to Mehrangarh Fort, visit Jaswant Thada a white marble memorial of Maharaja Jaswant Singh, it houses several royal cenotaphs of Jodhpur rulers. Later visit to the Umaid Bhawan Palace, a true example of luxury. Now it has been converted into a luxury hotel and a small museum. You can see some of the classic cars highly polished and lined on the lawn in front of the museum. Evening is free to relax. Overnight stay is in Jodhpur.

Day 09: Jodhpur – Ranakpur - Udaipur

Today, we will drive to Udaipur, enroute visiting to the Ranakpur, Jain temple. The temple complex was built by Rana Kumbha in the year 1439 and considered to be one of the most beautifully designed shrines of India. The temple complex is situated in a secluded place and has 29 halls dissected an astounding 1444 pillars. No two pillars have the same design and ornamentation. We will also visit to the Eklingi temple dedicated to the Lord Ganesha and Lord Kartikay guarding their father Lord Shiva. From here, we will drive to Udaipur, and check into your hotel. Overnight stay is in Udaipur.

Day 10: Udaipur – Chennai

Morning we will wake up bit early and visit the Jagdish temple dedicated to Lord Lord Ganesha, Sun God, Lord Shiva and Shakti goddess respectively. If time permits, we will visit the City Palace. The City Palace rising from the glassy Lake Pichola is an imposing structure and the largest palace in Rajasthan. The main part of the palace is preserved as City Palace museum which includes of the marvellous and lavish halls with mosaics, glass and mirror work. Later transfer to the airport to board your flight to Chennai. On reaching at Chennai, check into your hotel.

Day 11: Chennai

The temples of Chennai which we include in our sightseeing are Sri Parthasarathy Temple which is one of the oldest temples here is dedicated to Lord Krishna and was built by the Pallavas in the 8th century. Thousands of devotees attend the temple festival held here in December every year and the Kapaleshwar Temple situated in Mylapore is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The inscriptions here date back to 1250 and are quiet fragment now. The magnificent 37m carved gopuram depict gods, goddesses and saints from important Puranic legends. Overnight stay is in Chennai.

Day 12: Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram

Today we drive ahead to city of thousand temples Kanchipuram known for the one of the seven most scared pilgrimage towns of the Hindus. The most famous Shiva temple at Kanchi is the "Ekambareswara Temple" with the tallest gopuram in India. The "Kailasnatha Temple" is the oldest structure in Kanchipuram built by Rajasimha of the Pallava dynasty. And the last temple worth visiting in Kanchi is the "Varadarajaswamy Temple" situated atop Hastigiri or Elephant Hill. From here, continue our drive to Mahabalipuram. On arrival check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.

Day 13: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry

Today we will proceed for the sightseeing of Mahabalipuram. F the small coastal town along the Bay of Bengal "Mamallapuram". The beautiful "Shore Temples" are unique and one of the finest sights in the country. There are two rock cut shrines one is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the other to Lord Shiva. The 27 m long and 9 m high "Arjuna's Penance" also known as a "Descent of the Ganges or Bhagirath's Penance" is considered to be the world's largest bas – relief and finest rock carvings in India. One can see here hundreds of images of gods, flying celestial creatures, birds and animals. Behind Arjuna's Penance is a series of rock cut caves temples which have inner walls carved with bas- relief scenes of great beauty. Mahishasuramardini Shrine is the most famous one. Following sightseeing of Trichy, we will drive to Pondicherry. The shinning beaches are the best part of the city where one can relax and enjoy swimming and sun bathing. On arrival check in at the hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure in the laid back city

Day 14: Pondicherry – Tanjore – Trichy

Today morning visit some beautiful churches of Pondy such as Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Church of our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and Eglise de Norte Dame Des Lourdes. Later drive to Trichy enroute visiting Tanjore Palace located just near the temple it has pink walls and the interiors have carving of gods and goddesses, the tile work in sky bright colour, chocolate brown coloured teak and amazing murals makes it an attractive monument to see. On arrival at Trichy, check into your hotel for spending the evening at leisure.

Day 15: Trichy – Madurai

Today we will visit the must see temples, such as Rock Fort and Sri Ranganathaswamy complex. This place is very popular with Indian tourists. Visit the temple situated 83m high on a rocky outcrop on the banks of River Cauvery – Rock Fort temple. From here we continue drive to Madurai, on arrival check in the hotel. Evening, we visit the magnificent and glorious "Shree Meenakshi Temple", the star attraction here. Situated in the centre of the city, it is dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi and her consort Lord Sundareswarar. Overnight stay is in Madurai.

Day 16: Madurai – Rameswaram – Madurai

Today we will visit to one of the most famous temples Rameshwaram, dedicated to Lord Rama, who after defeating demon Ravana, visit this temple to offer prayers to Lord Shiva. The most interesting part is the road and train which connects the Madurai city to Rameshwaram. Enjoy the darshans, and evening return back to hotel in Madurai.

Day 17: Madurai – Departure

Today we will visit Thirumalai Nayak Palace built in 1523 in Indo Saracenic style. The granite pillars cased with mortar and the supporting arches of the palace enhances its beauty. Later in time transfer to Madurai airport to board your onward flight to Chennai. Arrive Chennai and connect your flight back to home or onward destination.
