Day 01- Arrive Delhi

Hey! Welcome to Delhi. As you arrive at the Delhi International Airport, a tour representative from Max Holidays will be ready to greet you there. Later, he will assist your transfer to the pre-booked accommodation in Delhi. Overnight stay at your Delhi’s pre-booked accommodation.

Day 02- Delhi sightseeing

Kick off your second day of the Culture Heritage Tour of India with a healthy and delicious breakfast, later get set for being a part of Salam Balak Trust’s City Walk. It will take you in and around the slum areas of New Delhi Railway Station.
After its completion, it is the time for engrossing in another enjoyable journey in Delhi Metro via which you will reach Jama Masjid. Explore the ‘beauty beyond words’ of this mosque and get ready for being a part of a man driven Rickshaw ride. Later, visit Raj Ghat, Qutab Minar and lastly the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib which the ultimate spiritual hub for attaining peace of mind Overnight stay at your Delhi’s pre-booked accommodation.

Day 03- Delhi to Jaipur (256 kms)

Enjoy some tasty breakfast and later, depart for Jaipur that is considered to be one of the most fascinating cities lying in Rajasthan. En-route, you are free to relax a bit at the motel and have some tea/coffee (direct payment) there. Witness the scenic views of the cityscape getting replaced by the desert. Arrive in Jaipur and later, check into your pre-booked accommodation there. Freshen up and then be a part of Jantar Mantar Observatory as well as Birla Temple’s exploration. Stay overnight in your Jaipur’s pre-booked accommodation.

Day 04- Jaipur sightseeing

Wake up and then eat some breakfast. Later, pay a visit to the rugged setup of the Amer Fort spotted on the top of the Aravalli hills. A decorated elephant ride (subject to availability) will be giving you an access to the main entrance of this attraction. Return back to the city and on the way you can give a halt to click your pictures at the photo stop Jal Mahal. After that, continue your drive towards the city and then enjoy the Rajasthani meals by being a part of the Street Food Walk here. Once done, you are then free to spend the evening as per your convenience. Stay overnight at your pre-booked accommodation in Jaipur. Suggestion: You are free to have a look of the Albert Hall and the Gaitore Chhatris/Cenotaphs. (No guide, direct payment basis) Optional Visit: You can have a delicious dinner at a prominent restaurant while having a glance at the amazing Rajasthani Folk Dance.

Day 05- Jaipur to Agra (223 kms)

This day is going to be full of surprises for you! Have some breakfast and later, be a part of a scenic drive towards the erstwhile Mughal Capital Agra. During your journey, you can explore the tiny yet wonderful Abhaneri Village that houses the Chand Baori Stepwell. Later, continue the drive and explore the deserted city Fatehpur Sikri. Reach its entrance via a fascinating battery van ride. Once done, ultimately travel towards Agra and on reaching there, check in to your pre-booked hotel there. Overnight stay in your pre-booked accommodation in Agra. Optional visit: The guests can have a glance of the innovative show ‘Mohabbat-e-Taj’.

Day 06- Agra-Jhansi Train journey to Orchha (20 kms)

Taj Mahal looks the most beautiful during sunrise! This statement is quite true and you are going to have a look at the same today. You’ll have to wake up early morning today and then pay a visit to the Taj Mahal. Enjoy the engrossing Tonga Ride to reach this marvellous sculpture. Once done, return to your hotel and have some breakfast! On its completion, you will be getting an assisted transfer to the Agra Railway Station in order to be a part of a train journey from Agra till Jhansi. Ultimately, arrive at Jhansi and from there you will be driven to Orchha in a pre-arranged private vehicle. Check in at your accommodation here and then start Orchha’s sightseeing tour. Explore the divine Ram Raja Temple, Jahangir Mahal, Cenotaphs and Palace, Orchha Fort as well as the Chaturbhuj Temple. Stay overnight at your pre-booked accommodation in Orchha. Suggestion: You can explore the Taragram Paper Factory in Orchha that is based on the production of gift wrapping paper by the recycling of waste paper.

Day 07- Orchha to Khajuraho (180 kms)

Have some breakfast in your hotel and later, start driving towards the land of Chandelas- Khajuraho. During your journey, you can take a midway halt at a restaurant and have some tea/coffee (direct payment basis). Arrive at Khajuraho and then check in at your pre-booked accommodation there. Later, freshen up and start the interesting sightseeing tour of Khajuraho. Visit the Eastern & Western parts of the Kamasutra Temples. Explore the spiritual aura of Vishvanatha Temple, Kandariya Mahadeo temple, Jagdambe Temple, Chausath Yogini Temple and Chitradurga Temple. Relax during the evening Stay overnight at your pre-booked accommodation in Khajuraho.

Day 08- Khajuraho to Varanasi (By flight)

Have some breakfast at your hotel and then you will be provided an assisted transfer to Khajuraho Airport from where you will be boarding a flight to India’s one of the holiest cities Varanasi. Ultimately arrive at Varanasi’s airport where you will be greeted by the Max representative and he will be assisting your transfer to the pre-booked accommodation here. Now is the time for some fun as you head towards the Ghat via a rickshaw ride and later, indulge in a small walk for reaching the River Ganges. During evening, be a part of the magnificent event of the Ganges Aarti. Stay overnight at your pre-booked accommodation in Varanasi. Note: There shall be a possibility that we may let you board an overnight train to the Mahoba Railway Station during the off season when the flights do not operate during the months of May, June, July and August. Suggestion: Since the train would be operating during evening, the travellers can enjoy a trip to the Panna National Park, have some lunch at Ken River Lodge or communicate with the local population of the village life nearby till that time.

Day 09- Varanasi

Varanasi can explored at its best during early morning. Wake up early morning and then start a walk on the bank of holy River Ganges. Enjoy a serenity filled boat ride commencing right from the Dashashwamedh Ghat to the Manikarnika Ghat and get to know more about the history as well as the religious significance of this city. Once done, take a walk in the squeaky lanes of Varanasi while exploring the Kashi Vishwanath Temple (Golden Temple), many smile shrines as well as the lodges for pilgrims. Finally return to your accommodation and relax for the time being. Later, pay a visit to the very recognized Banaras Hindu University. Stay overnight at your hotel in Varanasi. Optional Visits: - A visit to the highly spiritual Sarnath Temples - Yoga tour in which you will waking up at around 5:30 in the morning and then enjoy a 90 minutes’ Yoga at the Tulsi Ghat. - Cooking with the Indian Family where the travellers are going to get a brief about the Indian spices and Indian food habits. - A tour of the Dasharthi Puri village where travellers can witness the art of clay pottery and other relatable activities undertaken by the village people. Note: Just in case, you are travelling in train during the months between May and August, the train will be arriving today morning. Arrive at the station and then get back to your pre-booked accommodation here. At evening, you can enjoy the beautiful as well as grand Ganga Aarti ceremony on Ganges.

Day 10- Fly Home ex Delhi

Enjoy some breakfast and then get an assisted transfer to the Varanasi Airport for flying back to Delhi. You can then board a connecting flight from Delhi to your residence. Note: For those indulged in the train tour will be facilitated by the Day 09 tour programme today. Once done with the sightseeing tour of Varanasi, you will be transferred to the Varanasi airport for boarding an onward flight to Delhi.
