Delightful Rajasthan

After your arrival in Delhi, start on a half-day sightseeing tour of the city. On the next day, drive to Mandawa, located in the Shekhawati district of Rajasthan. Once you're in Mandawa, get ready to visit the Mandawa Castle. Next, head to Bikaner, the 'Camel Country of Rajasthan'. Here, you'll visit tourist attractions like the Lalgarh Palace, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnok Temple. Drive to Khimsar, a tiny village located on the edge of the Great Indian Thar Desert. View the Khimsar Fort and enjoy watching live folk dance performances. Reach Jodhpur for a full day of sightseeing while visiting the pilgrimage cities of Ajmer and Pushkar en route. Ajmer is popular for being home to the Dargah of sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti while Pushkar is where the holy Lake Pushkar is located. After exploring Kishangarh and Kuchaman, drive to Jaipur to check out the tourist attractions of the Rajput era. Also, take a stroll through the local markets of the city to buy some beautiful souvenirs. 


Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Delhi

Meeting & assistance on arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel for check in. After wash & change head for a half day city sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting India Gate - the memorial built for soldiers who died in World War I, President House known as Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House - The government head office, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and Laxmi Narayan Temple. Overnight stay is in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi - Mandawa (250 kms / 05 hrs)

Morning drive to Mandawa enroute visiting Mukundgarh Fort - this fort is situated in the Mukundgarh town in the Shekhawati district of Rajasthan. After the visit continue drive to Mandawa, upon arrival check into the hotel. Mandawa Purple Sunbird Ssariska National Parktown founded in 1775 by Thakur N. Singh and still the house of his children has stunning frescoes, havelis and mansions. By after move for a half day sightseeing of this region visiting Mandawa fort now known as Mandawa Castle it is one of the premium palace of Rajasthan and houses a collection of arsenals, costumes of relatives and big gun in a museum. Overnight stay is in Mandawa.

Day 03: Mandawa - Bikaner (190 kms / 04 hrs)

After breakfast drive towards Bikaner, upon arrival check into your designated hotel. After a little relaxation proceed for the city tour of Bikaner, this town is known for housing the sixteenth century fort, lodging old palaces, temples and mosque in it. Founded by Raja R. Singh, the fort is famous for its long range of 36 pavilions, a line of balconies and airborne windows of changeable designs. Also visit Lallgarh Palace, the museum, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnok Temple. Overnight stay is in Bikaner.

Day 04: Bikaner – Khimsar (153 kms / 03 hrs)

Today we move ahead in our journey while proceeding towards Khimsar. On arrival check into your hotel and post lunch you head for the city sightseeing. Khimsar is an excellent village and one of the interesting sites in Rajasthan to be explored by the tourists and the main attraction here is the impressive Khimsar Fort. Situated at the edge of the Thar Desert, this fort dates back to 16th century and till date houses the descendants of the Khimsar Thakurs. Built as a military structure today the fort serves as a one of the best heritage hotels in the country. Evening is free at leisure and enjoy the cultural Rajasthani dance show along with authentic Rajasthani dinner. Overnight stay is at Khimsar.

Day 05: Khimsar – Jodhpur (98 kms / 02 hrs)

From Khimsar this morning you leave for Jodhpur, upon arrival check into hotel. After lunch head for a city tour of Jodhpur, stranglehold of the violent Rathore tribe, it was founded in 1458 by Prince Jodha. Later visit Mehrangarh Fort located on a low sandstone hill this fort dominated the entire city and consists of some great architectural structures in it such as Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada just right to the fort, an impressive marble monument made in the memory of Maharaja J. Singh in 1899. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 06: Jodhpur – Kishangarh (244 kms / 05 hrs)

Morning you begin your drive towards Kishangarh, enroute visiting Pushkar & Ajmer. Both the places are of religious importance and popular pilgrim centre for Hindus and Muslims. Visit the Dargah Sharif Tomb at Ajmer and the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma at Pushkar known as the Brahma Temple. The holy ghats of Pushkar are also a must visit. Later we continue drive towards Kishangarh, on arrival check in the hotel and overnight stay is there.

Day 07: Kishangarh - Kuchaman

Visit the grand Kishangarh Fort today morning, it is a fort built in 1657 reflecting the lavish style of Rathore rulers and comprises of some stunning palaces in it such as the Phool Mahal. Later we drive towards our next destination Purple Sunbird Ssariska National ParkKuchaman, upon arrival check into hotel. Take a trip reverse in time whilst the trip to the glorious fort called "The Kuchaman Fort", it has consecutive layers of timeless history completely sealed frozen in rock & time. Feel the beauty of the fight won at the main gateway to the Kuchaman Fort, the Paanch Pole - the five gates have been set in a sequence that it is not possible for enemies to come in without being attacked from every way. Overlook a busy city from thousand feet height and shop in its wonderful Meena bazaar, the market place of princesses and queens, which lies at the base of the fort. You can enjoy swim in a unique two hundred year old underground swimming pool with its haughty arches and galleries and in the two other recent pools.

Day 08: Kuchaman - Jaipur (255 kms / 05 hrs)

The capital city of the princely state is our stop in Rajasthan, morning drive to Jaipur on arrival check in the hotel for overnight stay. Jaipur is the grand & vibrant town of Rajasthan famous for its textiles, handicraft and jewellery with precious stones attracting tourists. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 09: Jaipur

Morning, after a healthy breakfast head for an excursion to Amber Fort, the antique capital of the state is a magnificent fort lying just 11kms from Jaipur. The fort comprises of various courtyards, pavilions, palaces and temple in it with fantastic art and craftsmanship from medieval time. On return to Jaipur, visit the exuberant monuments in this glorious city such as the City Palace, Jantar Mantar or the Observatory and the landmark structure Palace of Winds known as Hawa Mahal. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 10: Jaipur - Delhi (258 kms / 05 hrs)

Today we drive from Jaipur to the capital city of India – Delhi. On arrival check in the hotel and after wash & change head to the city tour of different parts of Delhi reflecting various phases of capital. Delhi is divided into two parts Old Delhi & New Delhi, the older part is crowded and has some striking monuments from past such as Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and the colourful Chandni Chowk market. As we move to New Delhi one can see wide open space with beautiful gardens and modern buildings around. Visit the colonial structures built here such as the President's House and Parliament House. Drive pass India Gate the memorial built for the soldiers who died in World War I. Another prominent Mughal monument in the city is Humayun's Tomb which showcases as a great piece of Mughal architecture. And lastly visit Qutub Minar the tallest stone tower in India. Evening indulge in some shopping from the various shopping arcades present here. Overnight stay is in Delhi.

Day 11: Delhi Departure
