Bharatpur wildlife with Taj

Serving as a home to over 400 species of birds, the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary also referred as the Keoladeo Ghana National Park has proved to be one of the finest natural establishments present. A great opportunity especially for the photographers and the nature lovers too, this sanctuary has been amongst the most favoured weekend getaways from Jaipur. Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival - Jaipur

On arrival at Jaipur, get transferred to your hotel. The city was established in 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the then ruler of Amber. It remains the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe, through nine rectangular sectors. After some refreshment, we will proceed to explore the local markets of Jaipur. Evening, we will enjoy the Rajasthani Dinner at Chokhi Dhani. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 02: Jaipur

Morning drive to Amber Fort, located on the outskirts of Jaipur. There are stunning palace complexes, halls, pavilions and gardens at Amber fort which makes the fort a must visit spot on every travelers list. After Amber Fort visit enjoy half day city tour of Jaipur, there are places to visit such as The City Palace complex housing an imposing collection of Rajasthani art & ornaments and thousands of ancient handwritten original manuscript which are preserved by the royal family's still and are a part of their private collections. Jantar Mantar or The Observatory is place with a collection of traditional astronomical instruments built between 1727-34 AD is a noteworthy monument. The pyramid shaped spectacular Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds specifically made for the women of royal families to see the street processions and other activities with its small 953 windows and was built in 1799 AD. Spend the evening shopping some nice handicraft souvenirs for yourself and friends back home. Overnight stay is at Jaipur.

Day 03: Jaipur - Bharatpur

After breakfast, we drive towards Bharatpur, known for the Keoladeo Ghana National Park where every year thousand of migratory birds come such as Siberian crane, large number of turtles can also be seen here. On reaching at Bharatpur, check into your resort, Evening is at leisure at the resort. Overnight stay at Bharatpur

Day 04: Bharatpur – Agra

Early morning visit the bird sanctuary, where we will enjoy the rickshaw ride, which will take us inside the sanctuary. From here, we will continue our drive to Agra, enthralling city located on the banks of River Yamuna attracts moths of tourists from all over the world. On arrival at Agra, check in at the hotel and afternoon proceed for city sightseeing. Visiting Agra Fort and Taj Mahal, UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 05: Agra - Delhi / departure

Optional visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise, later after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, drive to Delhi and get dropped at the airport / train station for onward journey.
